1. Deer farming
At Martnadssletta we operate a modern and sustainable deer farm, where the deer thrive in large, natural enclosures covering a total of 220 acres. Deer farming is a growing industry in Norway, and we are proud to be part of this exciting development.
Our goal is to deliver exquisite, high-quality venison, while safeguarding animal welfare and nature's resources. The deer graze freely in our four large enclosures, ensuring a healthy and natural life. The demand for venison is high, and with an increasing focus on small-scale, sustainable production, we are optimistic about the future of deer farming.
We are part of the Norwegian deer farming community and keep up-to-date with professional knowledge through membership in the Norwegian Deer Breeding Association and cooperation with the Norwegian Deer Center. This gives us the opportunity to constantly develop and offer the best in deer farming.

2. Visit the farm
A visit to the farm is a unique and exciting experience for the whole family. Here you have the opportunity to get up close to the farmer's everyday life and learn about life on a farm. The beautiful farm is surrounded by lush nature and idyllic surroundings. Martnadssletta is just a 10-minute drive within the Atlantic Road. Why not combine a visit to one of the world's most beautiful roads with a deer safari, where you get to know one of Norwegian nature's most fascinating creatures, which has adapted to life on the West Coast since the Stone Age.

Thanks to Martnadssletta for a great experience for us at Nor Engros and our customers! It was a nice boat trip from Kristiansund to Averøya and then a bus up to Martnadssletta. There we got to taste Jägermeister-marinated deer fillet on a waffle which was absolutely delicious. Then we got to meet the deer up close and pet it, it was truly a special experience. We naturally ended with a deer burger and dessert at Bjartmars Favorittkro. Recommended!
