New deer fence

The summer of 2024 was spent in the forest and fields to create a new deer fence with pasture and shelter for the animals. The first part of the job was done with a chainsaw to remove forest in the fence route. In places it was soft and boggy, but we got through the planned route and at the same time secured the winter wood. Then the excavator came out to make the route as smooth as possible. Fence posts were put down, before the actual fence mesh and top wire came on. We are proud of the result, and the animals are doing very well in their new area. Here they find good shelter from both the southwest wind and snowy weather.
